This year Noto Gelato and OH GHEE have teamed up to bring you Brown Butter and Espresso Gelato. OG GHEE is a versatile superfood cooking oil made by simmering 100% Canadian Butter until the milk solids caramelize. The milk solids created in the production of ghee are often discarded by most ghee manufacturers. However, they have an incredible flavour profile (as they are literally the essence of brown butter). This Brown Butter and Espresso Gelato closes the loop and creates a zero waste production process, where the caramelized milk solids can be folded into delicious frozen desserts for a brown-buttery PUNCH! The addition of espresso is just a bonus - how could we go wrong?
